Yeah... I like the original too. The new version looks like its been designed with bits and pieces from a Mustang Aircraft Kit or something!

I think NCC 1701-A is better than both of them.

It could've been an amoeba, first thing I thought of when I saw it was, Planet Eater! I just like watching it move that fast!

Default it's only my opinion but...
why did they choose such a poor shot of the new E to release, then go on to try and explain to fans that is wasn't such a great shot? Doesn't add up.

If you are trying to market a new product you make certain you have the best photo of it to run in your ad campaign.
