Yeah, they did redress the runabout cockpit set for the Type 11.

Next, if I may cite Rule of Acquisition No. 269: A Ferengi without profit is like an Archer with a Broken Bow.

No doubt he's had a closer look at it than I have!

That's SpaceShipOne, the first nongovernmental manned spacecraft, winner of the $10 million Ansari X Prize for making it into space twice in one week in 2004, now hanging in the Smitsonian next to the Spirit of St. Louis and certainly worthy of an LCARS 24 library schematic. That thing hanging down below the nose is a landing brake that works by scraping the runway.

Well, the first of the SpaceShipTwo class is named VSS Enterprise, but Shatner is reported to have turned down a free ride on its maiden voyager, saying, "I do want to go up, but I need guarantees I'll definitely come back."

Anyway, getting to the edge of space like this is pretty cool, but getting to orbit takes about 60 times as much energy as making Mach 3.

But Bigelow Aerospace put two inflatable space stations in orbit, which could be habitable it they had a life-support system and some way to get people up there and back, which is their intention for the future. These were just for practice, but they want to put up an inflatable space hotel for paying tourists. I'd better start feeding the piggybank.

This one got a bit of a makeover, Admiral Janeway's shuttle is getting a complete redo, and two others in progress are still in progress until they're right.
