Default Quantum of Solace

So I'm just curious how many of you guys out there are 007 fans. I would say I'm a Star Trek fan first and a Bond fan second but I have to admit it's a close second. I've watched Star Trek since I was child so I don't really remember my first episode but I'll never forget seeing my first Bond movie when I was 12 years old (Goldeneye). From then on I looked forward to seeing a Bond movie one year and a Star Trek movie the next as they would alternate each year and always come out around this time. I have to say having the Star Trek trailer with the new 007 flick is like early Christmas for me. I'm really excited to see both, so much so that I'm going to see the midnight screening even though I work at 7:00am tomorrow and leave at for New York at 8:30pm. The plan was to see the movie after I get back from New York but now that it's so close I can't wait until Tuesday. STAR TREK AND BOND TOGETHER what more can I ask for.

I'm actually going to the cinema this weekend, not in anticipation of the trailer, but should I see it, I'll mention for any other UK members what film it accompanies. Though it probably won't precede 'Zack and Miri make a Porno'.

Anyway, there's still Quantum to enjoy!!

I'm a Bond fan and was going to see/review the film long before the TREK trailer was attached to it. Hopefully I'll enjoy both tonight!

If you enjoyed Casino Royale there's no real reason you shouldn't enjoy Quantum.

I won't watch the new Bond movie. Doesn't interest me. I may rent it when it is available.

I agree with what Roger Moore said re. the new Bond movies - it might be what the audience wants, but it doesn't have much to do with what Ian Fleming wrote about!

Im a Brit and i really like James Bond. Im not sure i would call myself a fan because i dont follow it like ST. My favourite bond is sean connery but i recon daniel craig is 2nd. howver i think that all the people who have portayed this character have brought something to the role.
