A lot of us, I think, had that impression, but he did state later that it was only an excerpt. Apparently though, it did have enough substance to paint a better picture of what we're in for.

Movie trivia, but I think Tim Burton was exec-producer on at least Batman Forever, which wasn't nearly as awful as the franchise-killing Batman & Robin., or as I will now call it, Batman: Nemesis.
