Area 51
Why is the Government so strict when it comes to area 51? Are they hiding missles or some secret weapon? I always wondered what the truth is when it comes to area 51. Or they testing some secret technologly? what do you all think???

They use, or at least have used, that region for testing new military technology, such as aircraft.
As such, they like to keep it confidential and away from prying eyes. The "UFO/Aliens" stuff is probably encouraged by the US defence authorities. If people are focused on chasing space aliens and other nonsense, then they won't be snooping around on what is really being tested there (military vehicles such as planes etc...).

If it's a military base, naturally it would be heavily guarded.
In that sense, it's no different from any other military base.

"Area 51" is/was the home of the "skunkworks" the high tech engineering division of the US military. It's where all the latest and greatest in jet fighter tech has been developed and proven... It's the home of the U-2 spyplane, the SR-71 blackbird, the stealth fighter and bomber programs, and the Vulcan program (scramjets). There is some question to if the base, Groom Lake, is still in full operation. Thanks to it's media exposure, many of the programs going on there have been moved to other locations in NM, CO, and AZ.
But, as far as I know, the flying saucer program is still there.

I think it's just an extremely secret military and future-tech laboratory and testing site - nothing really more than that.

There was a new jet being developed there called Aurora. It's all rumor and conspiracy theory I guess, the government hasn't confirmed it, but I've heard people talk about this Aurora jet.
