My dog of 16 years Caley, my favourite border collie in the whole entire world is being put down tomorrow. because of this i may be away from the internet for a very long time. Just thought it best to tell you all so you dont worry when i dont post.

I've lost a few good dogs in my life as well. I feel for you. It's harder than people who haven't been through it, or non-dog people know. I have one 14 years old and one 9 years old, so I'm preparing myself for it again. But I know, that when it happens, I'll just jump right back into it with a brand new pup. I just simply cannot imagine life without a dog. It just wouldn't be life. Best wishes Mattieau. Get yourself a bottle of wine or your favorite adult beverage and get a little tanked. You'll still be sad, but the good thing is, you'll be lit like a Christmas tree too.

I had to put down my dog named Monty recently. He was 16 years old and a very loyal dog. We purchased him about a year after our daughter was born. He was great with our other two small mini Dachshunds. He was their big brother and they miss him. I'm working on a picture portrait of him to hang on the wall.
