Well as a whole the people who keep an eye on this forum do a good job. However I personally think that freedom of speech should be respected not just on this forum but on all forums. Only posts that break the Law (of the country in which the forum is hosted) should be altered or deleted. For that reason I have disagreed with some actions taken by the forum administrators, however compared with some other forums I have belonged to they moderate with great skill and excuse the pun moderation.

Freedom of speech really only applies to the government, it doesn't apply to message boards created by private companies. Usually you will find similar rules with any major company. We try very hard not to be overbearing, but there are some topics, language, etc. that are just not allowed on these particular boards.

We do enjoy these message boards a great deal. Our members are top notch!

Volunteer mods are quite common on other boards, I don't think a company would be held legally liable for something a volunteer moderator posted on a message board - I highly doubt anything ever posted on a message board has ever lead to a lawsuit in such a manner. Besides the TOS probably protects them pretty heavily.
