I am just about sick of seeing these neagtive campaign adds on tv everyday. They get nastier by the week attacking the other person . I for one cant wait for everything to be over with. Enough with the attacking commercials. I know we need a change but Im sick of she did that and he did that and so on. I not going to put names on this thread since that is against the rules. Just been on my mind lately. I want all to be over with soon though. Lets get back to our daily life without the usage of the proverbial garbarge.

Happens over here in Germany as well during campaigns in all parties. I always appreciate when candiates for a political jobs say more of the "I am good because" than of the "he/she is bad because of". But the latter is a lot easier than the former.

Again, it's a practice I find wouldn't make me enthusiastic about any of the indiviuals involved, for it's simply a way of avoiding talking about real issues and plans. But politicians often behave like schoolchildren these days. It's amazing they expect us to vote for them.

Personally, I don't watch TV while the ads run; only watch late night and usually go do something during commercials. Also, This is the first time in my life since I was able to vote that I'm thinking of not voting; but if you don't vote, you got no right to complain about the guy in office. Momma taught me that.

Very good advice from your mother - being able to vote is crucial, even if it's sometimes hard to choose between who to vote for, have your say! A pet peeve of mine is when people complain about government etc then say 'I didn't vote' - I just stop listening to them right away!!
