Yeah, it'd be nice to be able to go again next time I'm in Vegas. It really was a fun place.

I'm trying to work out where the Neonopolis is, is that anywhere near Fremont Street. Not sure what comes under 'downtown' Las Vegas. I'm trying to recall my geography from when I was there in 2006.

Sorry, Tom, but the Vegas ST Experience isn't a traveling exhibit, it's a (semi)permanent entertainment installation (like a theme park ride, in a way).

Now you might get STAR TREK - The Exhibition to tour near you someday, though. That is designed as a traveling project.

i hope they seal the deal...then expand and update it!
then expand the monorail to hit downtown as well

Oh, it'll need a total revamp to bring it back up to date, and they'll need to make it more representative of the entire Trek history, including the new film (as that will help bring new people in). The original was too TNG/DS9 heavy.
