Really enjoyed it, and I look forward to each new novel. ENT was a show that sadly didn't find its voice until it was too late, just like many other great sci fi themed shows that came and went way too fast.

I quite enjoyed Enterprise but had to treat it as some 'alternate' Trek because of all the continuity and canon screw ups (The Romulans were just too big of a mistake to ignore).

It was a backwards step from Roddenberry's optimistic view of the future. For me, the more utopian Trek gets the less appealing it is. That's not a bad thing in my book, seeing how we get there can be interesting too. There's a few signposts for that in the series. Humans distrustful of Vulcan motives, able to build bridges with other races like the Andorians because of that and in the end, putting all that aside. All this was just beginning to come into it's own, when they were cut short.

I always thought Enterprise season 4 was one of the best seasons of all of Trek.

The three episode arcs were a good idea and the 4th season did a good job explaining many different early Trek subjects (Eugenics Wars, Klingon ridges, birth of federation)

Plus their mirror episodes were the best!

Season 1 was pretty good too, 2 was just ok, and 3 I really didn't get to see any of the episodes, but I will probably buy season 4

I didn't get it. I didn't understand why the series even existed.
There simply was no Enterprise before 1701..less you count a carrer and space shuttle.
How could you make such a blatant error. I felt like I was being force fed so instead of continue to be fusturated I left Trek to go through the Gate.

And what a ride it was.
