My eye socket is broken and my face is quite swollen. I have a few other injuries, but none as bad as my face. I really look bad. If any of you have any cheery well wishes, I wouldn't mind receiving a few. I was wearing my seatbelt, but the trooper said it didn't hold me. But that bloody airbag went off in my face and I look like I lost a heavyweight prize fight. Needless to say, I'm not feeling very well at the moment.

Airbags are a two sided sword....they protect you from the worst injuries in a huge accident, but in a minor accident, they often cause more injuries than would have happened without the airbag because, face it, it's an explosive device inches from your face and it's surrounded by a material that is very, very strong...when it breaks, it breaks into sharp strips that can, in fact, be lethal.

You should have someone take lots of pictures of you totally messed up because you just have to know that sometime, maybe not for a few years, but eventually, they will come in handy.... ("What?
