I'd be more than happy to see Stewart back as Picard. Frankly, I'd rather that than TOS redux.

As the bearer of his name on this forum, I would personally have liked to see him appear. With the rumor that TNG-era Spock is appearing, it would be nice to have fit at least a glimpse of JLP.

My personal opinion, in all honesty, is that they should, for lack of a better expression, leave the "next generation" to the next generation... for the time being... however I would not be opposed to Stewart doing a cameo, perhaps a villain... I think he would make a great villain.

In my opinion.

Id love him back but its a stupid idea, it wouldnt be able to fit in with the whole prequal idea and he wouldnt have much to do, its pointless for this film even considering him.

Is it to late just to have a new TNG movie instead?

I think Picard and his crew are done. I liked Nemesis, and thought although it was sad, it did justice. The Undiscovered Country might have been a bit better. Alright, a lot better, but Stewart gave his best. I really hope unless they do something spanning the whole Star Trek universe they don't put him in.

I'd love to see the movie start in the 24th century with Picard getting his final send off, but I am pretty sure it's not going to happen...

After watching the final Episode of Enterprise in 2005, and the way the last scene of all 3 ships flying off, I really thought at that time Trek was done.

I guess in a way it is good that Nemesis bombed at the box office, it allowed Trek to rest for while and let some new blood come in and take the helm.

If it makes sense in the story, I'm all for it.
