Default Does anyone want Patrick Stewart in the new movie?

I'm wondering with all the emotion about getting Shatner back is there no one who would like to see Stewart in for another innings?
Not suggesting it is probable, just wondering who would like to see it.

i wouldn't have objected to stewart in another TNG movie if it were going to be one of quality...

however given what we know of the plot for the new film, it would be ridiculous if he were to appear...

He could easily appear as an ancestor of Picard no problem at all.

What like the Voyager millenium episode?... I still can't make my mind up if I liked that

Nothing against it, but don't think he wants to play Picard again.

true, but i can't really see what the point of that would be, other than an excuse to have him in the film...

I've always wanted to see elements from all of the series, in one film. Trouble with that is devoting sufficent time to that many characters. Epic films like Lord of the Rings seem to pull it off but are often long, drawn out and quite frankly boring.

I somehow doubt Patrick Stewart would agree to a small role, just to be the Captain of a ship seen ferrying the Old Spock around. He has done his best to distance himself from Trek in recent years too...

Perhaps he could play a beggar and a young Kirk helps him get a job as a cleaner at Star Fleet.
