Garak and Jadzia as characters.

Of course I loved whenever Jeffrey Combs was guest starring b/c he made his characters so great.

O'Brien - I liked him in TNG and was glad to see him get a much larger roll.

Then Garek and Julian. Loved their lunches.

Garak!
Bashir was cool too.
And I liked Dukat... pre-crazy-***-freak stage.

Julian Bashir first, no close second.

...But Garak is second and Rom is third and Miles is fourth.

Garak, for this reason only:

ODO: You'd shoot a man in the back?
GARAK: Its the safest way, isn't it?

lol

^^lol!

Garek was a great character and Andy Robinson played him brilliantly.

There were several characters on DS9, both regulary and recurring, that were so strong and compelling. I think that's quite unique amongst the Trek series. Most of all I enjoied the relationships between those characters. The O'Brien/Bashir was a highlight as was the Quark/Odo relationship. Worf/Jadzia too and Garek/Dukat.

The best recurring characters in my opinion were Weyoun, Demar, Garek, Dukat and Kai Winn.

Great characters, great series.
