I just saw a trailer for Baz Lurhmans new movie.

The visuals look amazing. The music was dreadful.

Don't judge it by the music, often trailers don't even feature music from their own film because it's not finished.

About an english girl played by Nicole Kidman who comes to Australia in the 1800's to live and fall in love with Hugh Jackman.

Baz Lurhman is usually a little off beat but make great movies so it will be interesting to see what he does with this one.

I thought it's set in the 1940s, with said Kidman and Jackman on a cattle drive across the country, (and falling for each other, of course), to arrive in Darwin just before the WWII bombing of the city? I thought that was the synopsis I had read online?

I think Hugh Jackman does a reasonable Aussie accent, but I can't help but wonder why Perry Cox hates him so much?
