Hey gang we have a well versed group of poeple here. I was wondering if anyone could give me some assistance. My mother and wife are going to make my halloween costume but I need to know fabric suggestions. IM doing a Jedi Robe based off off Mace Windu. I have a pic but Im at work as I type and have limited internet access so I can't find it to post it. But I want something fairly lightweight but still looks like the right material.

My sugestion is to go to a fabric store and tell them your idea and they can give you sugestion of lightweight easy to work with fabrics.

Im thinking I might go at lunch to start scoping out fabric I just paid so I should be able to buy the materials at least for part of it. Im debating if I should do the robe first or t the Tunic.

You could probably do the inner light brown robe on the cheap with burlap, but there's the itch factor to consider.
And the outer robe could be done with anything, really - check the sales rack.
