I wouldn't mind seeing Frakes in the new movie. Or indeed any of TNG cast. BUT, I'll just scream at the end if any of them say, "Computer, end programme." and all of the movie characters vanish!

Ok, but who would you explain a 24th century officer in the 23rd century?

IMO, the TNG cast is getting too old to be believable in their roles. Did anyone else notice the hint of frailty in Patrick Stewart's voice in X3? I don't mean acting, either. Frakes looks old and tired. Spiner is by his own admission too old to play Data. And have you seen Gates McFadden lately? I think the only one who could pull off another go-round might be Michael Dorn, and I'm sure he's probably sick to death of the rubber skullcap.

I say let the old actors move on, bring on the new.

It IS possible we may see a small cameo by at least one TNG crew member. Old Spock is supposed to be from the post "unification" timeline, maybe even post "Nemesis". That is smack in the middle of where TNG characters are. I would love to see cameos by Frakes and Sirtis in the Titan!! The Titan was sent to Romulas after Nemesis in order to start talks. We don't know where Spock during that time.
