I know. Between pushing 400ASA b/w film to 800 and getting those incredible shadows, or messing around in the darkroom, photography used to be a lot more... human. One of my favorite things about going to China back in the 1980's was the stop over in Tokyo - you should have seen us snatching up lenses. It was freaking paradise. Plus, if you paid in dollars, it was even cheaper!
