Default Least favorite character

Has to be Wesley Crusher. I couldn't stand his character. The kid was a punk. All attitude. And they make him "acting ensign" of the federation flagship? Seriously? Why not make Barclay first officer? They should have shown some junior officers giving him grief in every episode as a running bit.

On TNG? I don't think I had a least favourite. Not even Wesley, that was the writers fault, not Wheaton's.

I liked Wes, especially compared to other children characters like Jake or Naomi.
Naomi 'assimilated' a lot of books while she was even younger than Wes, and the gracious Uncle John-Luck allowed Wes to fly his ship, overcoming his discomfort with childeren, while the evil Aunt Kathy did not allow the even smarter Naomi to even sit at a science station on the bridge. Q should have taught nasty Aunt Kathy that Picard-lesson.

Back on topic, the other Crusher is my choice.

Q:"Now Kathy you've been very bad."

KJ:"Q get the h**l off my ship!"

Q:"Kathy, such language!! You really should be spanked."

KJ:"Not in my lifetime Q!"

*Q snaps fingers*

I'll let everybody write their own ending.....

to be honest I wasn't a big fan of Data. I thought his pinnochio story got too much air time at the expense of other characters.

I mean no offense towards Wheaton (he was great in Stand By Me!) I just didn't like the Wesley Crusher character. Least favorite actor is another topic altogether

No, I didn't mean him personally as an actor, only that he could only work with what scripts he had. The writers made use of him as ship's saviour too often, and didn't write him like a real teenager. Of course what a real teenager would actually be like in the 24th Century would be anyone's guess! But if he as a character was least likeable, I only mean - blame the writer's!!
