The movie "Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country" Spock gives out a random quote: "If i were human i believe my responsibility would be... go to hell, if i were human".

Then i told myself.. "wow, well ok. That was uncalled for."

Do you remember what was your reaction to that quote.

My reaction was that i began to laugh, then i told my friends about it. They told me that was such a good quote. It was insane.

Do you guys think that was a good quote to end the cast off of with a good ending to that movie?

I think it was a good ending to the movies.

It was a reference to STIV and the colorful metaphors, and also, possibly, Spock making fun of himself.

It also referred back to TSFS and Kirk's insubordination and showed that Spock learned from Kirk that 'by the book' and following orders is not the only way.
Did he not speak about "cowboy diplomay" in Unification? Again something that suggests how old Spock changed. Wonder how Nimoy will portray him in the movie.

I liked it and it made me laugh - as Spock got older, his human side was way more active - especially after the whole katra scenario.
