Hi Jed

Great Britain is thinking of you guys. It was something that was so awefu,l i could barely comprehend it. A very sad day in all of Human kinds history.

I hope time heals for everyone who suffered.

Hi Tom

I was at home watching it on the BBC. I watched the events unfold as they happened 'live'. It was truly terrifying and breathtaking. It was the most horrible thing ive ever seen.

I visited ground zero a couple of years ago when i went to NY on holiday. It was a very moving moment looking on. I thought back to when i watched on TV and here i was standing on the very site where all that tradgedy occurred. I had to go there to pay my respects.

My thoughts go out to all the victims and families of all the plane disasters that day.

I do hope that these new towers will be a symbol of the American and human spirit that we can look forward again, but never forgetting those who died.

And let us not forget the victims of terrorist attacks in Britain and Spain, as well. Pip pip for John Bull!

The youngest son of a family that lived across the street from us was on one of the top floors of the north tower. It's wierd when it hits that close to home!
What really creeps me out is how the pilots used the city I was living in at the time (Albany) to know when to turn south to NYC. My friends and I have always wondered if we saw the plane flying overhead but (obviously) didn't think twice about it.

Hi Jerrhanner

Yes absolutely. Britain lost 67 people in the attacks on the towers and of course we have had our own attacks to deal with not less the bombs on the Buses in London etc. Also the train attacks in Spain were truly aweful.

watching The History channel special on 9/11. One of the hardest things I have watched, It shows video that people took from that day. Just brought tears to my eyes once again

Yeah, I just watched it too. Hard to watch, but probably the best 9/11 documentary I've seen.

At the time It reminded me a little of the London Blitz of WWII, a simular horible time for our friends accross the pond.

Hi Zardoz,

Yes, i expect it was a bit like the Blitz. Its at times like that that you ask yourself and your nation a lot of questions as to who you are and what you stand for. I felt so ashamed to be part of the human being on that day.

I dont want to get into politics as here isnt the place but we also had 30 years of violence with the conflict within Northern Ireland. Attacks spread to mainland Britain for decades. Over that time thousands lost their lives.

Thankfully it seems to be a mich brighter place than it was 30 years ago.
My heart went out to you guys for that 9/11 event was truly aweful.
