I think I might've finged (fung?) by accident once. I got in some pretty serious trouble for it, too, lemme tell ya! O.o

I seriously think you need to use more than one finger to fing effectively...that might just be my opinion of course....
oh...and thumbs are only really good for "auxillary finging"...not the main event....
