Default True Blood

was on yesterday on HBO. Turned out to be ok, not sure if want to get HBO just to watch it, Any of you saw it?

I saw it and quite liked it, off to a good start. Perhaps not as strong as previous series like ROME, but also not intended to be as epic or serious.

Haven't read the novels which inspired the series, but would like to look into them someday. Also, I'm a sucker for such gothic ideas and southern settings. I look forward to next week's episode to see how it builds.

I've not heard of it, sometimes HBO makes it over to some UK channels - what's it about?

Takes place in the South. People know that Vampires are real and live among us. A young girl befriends a Vampire, she has some kindabilty to hear peoples thoughts.
