Wow. I was 4 years old... 7 when it went off the air... and with me in syndication ever since. Could a guy ask for a better touchstone for his life? I mean, religion is all about guilt, and making you feel bad about enjoying yourself. Politics? No way, you can't trust any of them. Friends? Well, maybe a few... but most of the people you knew as a kid have long since moved on... (at least that's how it's been for me.)

But here's this TV show, this shared experience, a shared history, that has allowed me to find lord knows how many like minded people over the years. People who aren't always getting drunk, or smoking weed, just to get through the day because they think the future will be sh*t.

Yeah, we may be geeky... but we aren't the ones giving up on the world.
