I saw the movies on VHS with my older cousin Alex first, who I thought was so cool. Then I grew up watching TNG. My parents allowed me as a 6 year old to watch Encounter at Farpoint. I remember it was Christmas of 88 that my cousin got the ERTL 1701-D model. I never actually saw an episode of TOS till I was 11 I think... and it was "Space Seed."

Side note: One of the great days of my childhood was going the hour east to Dyersville, Iowa to see the Field of Dreams Ghost Players baseball game, AND buy a 1701-A model at the store in the ERTL toy factory on the SAME DAY!!! That's right... Oregon_Coast_Trekkie is Iowa born and bred.

Side note #2: Riverside is a town of roughly 900 people about 20ish minutes south of Iowa City, making it around a 1:40 drive from where I grew up. I believe that it actually got permission from Gene Roddenberry to proclaim itself Kirk's future birthplace. Nowadays, I hear there's a big casino there.

Star Trek - Voyager was my entry in the Star Trek universe. It must've been the 3rd season. After that DS9, TNG, TOS, ENT...

Now I've seen every episode and movie of Star Trek and own most of them on DVD.

I can't remember the episode but my first series was TOS, I used to watch the repeats with my Dad.

Funnily when TNG came on the air I refused to watch it becuase it wasn't Kirk. LOL

1997. @ uni (first year) Don't remember which episode except that it was TNG.

... Or possibly earlier occasional original series episodes on late at night.

Although my mum would never have let me watch Star Trek when I was little -- she hates it!

Default Very First Star Trek Ep

It was a TOS episode and Spock [I think] got attacked by some things that looked like flying fake puke [like those school joke ones?].

Can't remember the ep title though...

Looks like the movie's release been moved to next Spring...aagh!
