I remember as a little kid the driver for my day care would stop off at her house to watch TOS in reruns, and I was maybe 5 or 6 years old at the time, so I just remember the "swush" of the doors and thought it was cool.

Then TNG came out in the late 1980's and I was hooked from about the 2nd episode.

My very first episode was "Journey to Babel". The first series I watched all the way through was TNG.

I could have seen Star Trek first run, but I was too little to remember. In the early 70s, my life revolved around watching Star Trek re-runs. Whatever I was doing, I always came home for lunch and Star Trek. By the age of 10 I was buying my first U.S.S Enterprise Blueprints, Starfleet Technical Manuals and James Blish episode adaptions and watching The Animated Series on Saturday mornings!

TOS was my first series... I was way too young to understand it(around 1st to 3rd grade).. I just thought the show was visually interesting. The episode where those brain cells that look like fried eggs flying around and latching onto poor Spock's back! That really freaked me out. I laugh at it now but that imagery still manages give me a hint of horror. When TNG came I watched...but I was still too young to really understand it so my interest fell out. I used to love love Reading Rainbow. It was only after that one episode where I made the connection that Levar is Geordi. That sucked me and my older sister back in like nothing else. 4th-5th grade and on I was a devoted fan. I took piano lessons and remember watching some of the animated series while waiting for mommy to pick me up.
