My parents said for me it started with reruns of TOS, but the episode I remember for sure would have been the premiere of All Good Things...

I know I had to have seen "Balance of Terror" in it's first run on NBC, because I was drawing pictures of Romulan Birds of Prey in kindergarten...almost two years before TOS started showing in syndication.

I've been a fan since the very start.

First Episode was "Spock's Brain" in re-runs amazingly enough!

Series was TNG (Grew up on it) but for some reason, the first episode I remember seeing in first run was Night Terrors. Maybe it was Marina Sirtis's buttocks that was so memorable.

Though I probably saw other episodes before this one, since my older brother watched the syndicated reruns all the time, the first specific Star Trek episode I can remember seeing was "By Any Other Name." This was in the late 1970s and I was two or three years old. The only reason I remember the exact episode is because one scene really scared me. The Kelvans reduced a couple of the minor characters into tetrahedral blocks and crushed one of them into dust, killing her.

I grew up watching TOS and still enjoy watching it to this day, on DVD and the remastered versions on TV. I also loved the classic crew movies, particularly II, III, IV, and VI.

I stomached TNG and DS9 and even found them entertaining at times, but they never gave me the same feeling as Kirk and his Enterprise. I can't wait for the new adventures to begin!

"Balance of Terror" was the first I had seen, too. Hooked for life after that.
