Hello Out There
I'm FranCat and I just joined this Forum 2 days ago. Iv'e already posted on a few very good threads, and I'm eager to talk to anybody who's willing to talk to me. I didn't even know about the new movie until I found this Forum; been out of the loop for a while 'cause I don't have my own computer. I'm using my dad's right now, but now that I've found you guys, I'm going to be dropping in on him a little more often.
I've been a FAN my entire life! Mom got me started as soon as I could read(age 3), but since I was born a year after tos went off of first runs, I never really got to watch TOS until I was 15. (we didn't heven have a TV from the time I was 8 until the year I turned 15 ) Instead, I read every TOS episode in James Blish's books, and Mom bought copies of every Trek Novel as soon as they were published!! Then the Movies Started coming, and me and Mom went crazy over them! even though I can agree with some of the things fellow fans don't like about any one movie, I actually like them all, and definitly love certain one(guess which ones aren't my favorites)!! In Fact, the only reason my Mom finally agreed to get another TV is 'cause she wanted to watch TNG!!! If you want to share Your story about how or why you're a fan, I'd love to hear it!! Thanks for your welcome posts!!! A little more about me... I like to rebuild any thing mechanical; I can completely tear down and rebuild a automotive engine or tranny, do the body work to. I also like to dance (clud not stage), and can make my around a DIY project on my own. Anyone wants to talk about that or anything else they are also good at??
