Unhappy For Better or For Worse

Yesterday, I found that one of my favorite comic strips is changing (you can read the last entry for the strip at (http://www.fborfw.com/strip_fix/archives/003336.php). They're going back to the beginning, and the writer will stop following the saga of the adult children within the Patterson family.

My husband and I both have loved reading this strip for years, and although I know it's just a story I am saddened to see the changes but just like it's been said, all good things must come to an end.

I saw that this morning. I used to read it once in awhile, but it got too complicated eventually, and I lost track. it is unusual to see a comic that develops and gets more complicated.

I was sad too. It was such a smart comic strip; kind of like a really really good Luann. I'm so glad they're going back to the beginning again. There's no more Far Side or Calvin & Hobbes or Bloom County, but by crikey I'll still have FBoW!

I really need to get a Far Side Gallery, and the Complete Calvin and Hobbes. I have most of the Calvin books, but the set is necessary for the "effect".
