"Nemesis" was alright, but this movie will be even better since it's a time travel story involving the Romulans.

I was promised Romulans in the last movie. My Brother, a huge Romulan Fan ((and huge Romulan Faction player in STTNGCCG)) was so pissed that it was a Romulan move with no Frakking Romulans in it...that he nearly asked for his money back.

As long as the romulans are cool, we should be good. He is already lear of the tats

Oh! Oh! I know the answer to this one!

It needs to not be a reboot.

One less ticket sold.

Lindelof: I think it’s like how with Batman, it got to the point where there was more press about the nipples on the Batsuit than there was about the characters, and the franchise needed a reboot.

It's a valiant effort, Horatio, but the debate and preconceptions over reboots and Shatner will rage unabated from now until next May no matter what any of us say. Then they will start over with disappointments and bashing rehashing the same point all over, but informed by the actual film at least.

This movie has to be a movie.

ST:1 was too serious
ST:2 had the best balance
3-6 got campy
7 got it right (with just a little camp)
8-10 were like 2 hr long TNG episodes

If you're going to make a motion picture it has to hit all the notes right - not just some. JJ and pals know how to do that. Like Nolan with Batman - make it like it's new and real, adding perhaps touches the faithful wouldn't expect.

That's what they need to do - make a movie - not a 2 hr long television episode.

Just like MI:III, domestic only $134 Million with a budget of $150 Million, but domestic + international combined Mission Impossible 3 made $400 Million and therefore was a big success. They want to do the same with STXI.

Here the approximated results of all movies, subdivided in the US and World result. Inflation-adjusted only ST10 didn't reach $150 million worldwide.

HTML Code:
                           Original inflation-adjusted
Title US World US World
Star Trek 1 (1979) 82 Mio. 133 Mio. 218 Mio. 359 Mio.
Star Trek 2 (1982) 78 Mio. 97 Mio. 177 Mio. 221 Mio.
Star Trek 3 (1984) 76 Mio. 87 Mio. 160 Mio. 182 Mio.
Star Trek 4 (1986) 109 Mio. 133 Mio. 207 Mio. 252 Mio.
Star Trek 5 (1989) 52 Mio. 70 Mio. 92 Mio. 124 Mio.
Star Trek 6 (1991) 75 Mio. 97 Mio. 125 Mio. 162 Mio.
Star Trek 7 (1994) 75 Mio. 120 Mio. 124 Mio. 199 Mio.
Star Trek 8 (1996) 92 Mio. 146 Mio. 147 Mio. 233 Mio.
Star Trek 9 (1998) 70 Mio. 112 Mio. 94 Mio. 151 Mio.
Star Trek 10 (2002) 43 Mio. 67 Mio. 51 Mio. 80 Mio.
Cool where did you find the these info. The info that i got some of them didn't show the international part. Do you know what the budget of each movies costs?
