Default Do you guys think Seth MacFarlane would understand me?

This might come as a shock to you all, but when the Writer's Guild went on strike and Seth MacFarlane was part of it, I acted like an idiot and called him a colossal dick head for doing so. The thing is, I honestly never expected him to be a member of the WGA since George Lucas was once a member and quit. To put it simply, I foolishly thought we'd never see any more new episodes of "Family Guy." So do you guys think he'd understand me and accept my apologies?

Did you call him a colossal dick head to his face? Either way, I'm sure he's crying all the way to the bank, so don't sweat it.

Yes, did he hear you? I guess he might accept one if he heard it directly. Then again, it may not have bothered him in the least.

Oddly enough i was just thinking about this this morning while eating breakfast.

Perhaps he thinks you are a colossal d.h and therefor assumes that he indeed understands you.

It is now your job to show him that perception is wrong and a profuse apology is the first step in that process.

An apology like an insult requires no thinking. Just do it.

But a truly backhanded apology takes finesse and style.

I think you might spend a longer time explaining WHO you are to him than how you offended him in a post one time.

He might do the "It's not your fault" bit from "Good Will Hunting" to me.

No, I did not. And why would he cry about it? Besides, I already said I was being an idiot for badmouthing him like that, but the strike is over so now we can put this behind us and forget it ever happened, alright?

We all want to move on Spock but sometimes an apology from a penitent heart must come first.

No pain no gain my friend.
