They have programs where they can take pictures of models, and composite (or combine, sorry I'm not up on all the jargon) them and be able to make a full 3-d computer model to work with, capable of all the same things as a CGI model made completely from scratch.

How about have both I prefer models since thats what I was raised on but intertwine cgi with models.
