Thanks, I know but it does not make it better and worse is I deep down feel I could have done more, I guess it is what someone in my profession feel when their pets get sick and die

No meds Not till it shows signs. and can't give any amoxi/ pen drugs very toxic to guinea pigs cause diarrhea that can not be stopped

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your loss. I know what it's like, i've lost several awesome pets myself. Even though some of them died of old age, it always seemed like they went too soon. You miss them, just like people.

Did I miss a post about the average lifespan of these critters? Most rodents don't live really long lives...as much as we'd love them to.

And they do make neat pets. But more of a rat guy myself.
