Yeah, this "rouges gallery" of Trek women really isn't at all accurate. To be honest, I can only think of two episodes that pretty much implied that Kirk had "nailed" any of the space babes he was interested in... "Wink of an Eye" and "Bread and Circuses."

There were some allusions to old girlfriends... but as far as onscreen romances.... not many at all.

But it also includes wanting...

You gotta admit in every episode, if it was intended or not, Shatner's Kirk eyeballed all the ladies.

They are not really "super-revealing", they only look like that, due to the work of William Ware Theiss: the degree to which a costume is considered sexy is directly proportional to how much it looks like it is about to fall off.
The blue dress is one example for "Theiss-ware":




And for the female viewers, one had Kirk ripping his shirt from time to time

Theiss also had a way of showing just a small amount of what usually isn't shown. Bachelorette #2 above is a good example.
