An indubitably happy 87th birthday to the man who created a cancelled TV show!

We should all be such a 'failure' as Gene was!

May the candles on your cake be the flickering stars in the universe -- enjoy their light more each year!

I feel that Gene Coon had as much, if not more influence on Trek than GR ever did. GR was a master of surrounding himself with great people.

Hmmm, he may have had a hand, but today people seem to forget Rod Serling with Twilight Zone.

I am sorry Zardoz, but besides star trek (generally) only a few series have attracted my interest, unfortunately Twilight zone is not one of them.
