Well, I think there should be gray characters in Star Trek... they've been avoiding the whole issue of grays on the bridge since the beginning. They don't have to have a gray "token" or anything... and we certainly don't want to see any gray character doing any "anal probing" on screen... but we could show two gray characters having a relationship without losing the audiance at all... Yes, there could definitely be a gray character on Trek.
Oh, wait... I think I have my threads mixed up....

And they have popped up on other sci fi series... I remember B5 having an episode where someone wanted to sue a gray for "abducting his grandfather" or something... and of course there were the Asgaurd on Stargate.
Once again, grays on OTHER shows... but not on Trek... I think Berman had an anti gray attitude...

Yeah, I remember that on B5. Berman needs a trip through the hall of toleration, our gray brothers need to be represented in the world of trek in some form or another.
