Hey man, thank you for the warm welcome! This is really a lovely friendly forum. I'm a bit of a forum *****, and looks like I've found a nice harem!

As for the series I've watched, I haven't exactly seen EVERY episode, just a few here and there if you know what I mean. As I further entrench myself into this community, you will find that I am a layman at best when it comes to all things Trek.

However, what I am familiar with are the MOVIES. That is what I know best.

The first Trek movie I ever saw at a cinema was Star Trek Generations and I must say it was one of the best cinema going experiences of my life. It was my 17th birthday, I was with my best friends (I'm 30 now and they are still my best friends) and it was one of the best evenings out I can remember.

I saw all of the Trek movies that came after, and each experience has a story to it. But as I further ingratiate myself into this forum, I hope you will indulge me in sharing these stories with you .

But once again thank you for the warm welcome everyone. Look forward to chatting with you, and being educated by you in regards to a 40 year old popular culture phenomenen, that I guarantee you all, is about to experience a whole new lease of life in May 2008.

Not for many years really. Catch the odd repeat on late night telly but nothing else really... I wouldn't go out and buy it all on DVD unless I came into SERIOUS money.

Hi Chicken! Welcome aboard. You have a breadth and depth of knowledge that will be very welcome here as we all tend to learn from each other since all of our Trek experiences are varied. TOS is my personal fav and I'm pretty good with TNG and all the movies. I share your view on Enterprise. We're really all one big family here
