Hey Trekkers!
Hi, my name's ChickenStu. Been a casual Star Trek fan for as long as I can remember. I remember watching reruns of the original series whilst growing up, and used to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine as I entered into my teens.
Never seen Star Trek: Voyager apart from the pilot episode, and never could get into Enterprise. I have the existing ten feature films on DVD. Never been a massive fan, but I do have quite a good working knowledge of the phenomena and have always been interested in the lore and place of Trek in popular culture. So why have I joined this forum I hear you ask? Well, frankly because I am REALLY excited about the new movie that is coming out in May 2009. The trailer blew my mind, and the cast looks fantastic. And frankly I want to chat to someone about it! Wouldn't mind having a natter about the other movies either! Anyway, nice to meet you all and now I'm going to be nosey and have a good old browse of the forums!

TOS, TNG and DS9, looks like you have a good taste, these three still were Star Trek at its best. And although you don't call yourself a massive fan that's quite a huge ammount of material you actually watched.
