Thumbs down You tube

Why in the world would people want to put videos of thier self
beating the crap out of other people???? I really think you tube should not allow videos of fighting on thier web site. I think people should be ashamed of thier self for puting videos like that on the internet. you tube shouldn't promote violence like that. Thats ridiculous I think.
If kids have nothing esle better to do than that , then why not use that free time geting a job or doing something constructive

You tube gets ten hours of material uploaded every minute - it's utterly impossible to filter it all and check it before it goes on, which is the biggest problem with these kinds of sites. But I think they are a bit lax when it comes to removing stuff, putting it on the responsibility of users to flag it up is like asking multi-national corporations to decide how much tax they should pay for themselves. It's a bad idea, because there are enough weird (putting it very diplomatically) people out there who want to see this stuff and won't flag it up, until someone else does. It just demonstrates how many problems society has when people actively enjoy watching innocent people get attacked. But they will still be there if You Tube didn't exist.

Funny. Whenever I think of that song, I think of the discovery of the Australopiticus Lucy. And whenever I think of the Australopiticus I will have to think of the Shattner from now on. The Beatles, the Australopiticus Lucy and William Shattner - associations are a curse.

So, what to say about all that crappy stupid moronic videos on youtube? The great thing about the internet is, that while we allways presumed menkind to be a collection of brainless premature monkeys, youtube prooves it to be true.

Wait - Youtube, Monkey, Australopiticus, William Shattner. Arrrghhh!!!!

I understand your opinion but I think this is a matter of freedom of expression and censorship. If Youtube where required to remove "violent" videos from their website because they "promote violence" then why should boxing be allowed? How about television shows, movies and video games with violence in them? Where do you draw the line? The way I look at this issue is if you don't like it, don't watch it. There are laws in place that Youtube has to follow in terms of censorship and they are, along with movies, shows and video games. Movies, shows and video games even have ratings so you as the consumer can make a better educated choice whether you want to buy the product or not. In my opinion in the end it should be the consumer’s choice.
