We have Time Warner Cable. I can't remember what all the channels are. I know one is basketball and one is, I want to say soccer....can't remember the rest, maybe track? I won't be watching them much. I'm more excited about the fact that NBC is going to have all their coverage in HD this time. The last Olympics the only HD coverage was on 24 hour delay and it was largely shot by people from other countries so the focus wasn't on athletes we knew (that and there were very, very few HD ads....so, we watched the ad for our TV every 10 minutes...it was horrid).

Have you heard the story about the guy carrying the American flag in the opening ceremonies? He was one of those Lost Boys from Africa who made it over here and then made it to the Olympics.

Yes, that is definitely a great story. Sadly, this Olympics is already weighted heavily on the "bad" stories....but I guess that makes the good stories doubly good!

I understand, it's easy to get wrapped up in politcal inhumanity. But the games should go on and without the sideline of China choosing to behave badly.
