I play the baritone/euphonium. looks like a mini tuba. band is really fun in our district... we have great teachers. Lunch at our schools is getting interesting. Two years ago we got a new lunch program... Aramark. They promised the district a 60,000 dollar profit. We ended up with a $300,000 loss. on top of a 3 million dollar deficit. So now we have a new provider... yippie...

Time Traveler has a very good board now that is devoted mostly to political discussion (though, other areas are addressed). It is a YUKU board and you'd have to register with YUKU but that's not a huge deal.

As the admins here have suggested that controversial topics are not to their taste, I don't think it's inappropriate to mention it here (others have put links to their boards in their signatures with no negative repercussions). I would offer the caveat that this board is largely an adult board and while Time Traveler (who has a different handle in the YUKU universe) is very good about monitoring things like the posting of inappropriate images, he is also very good about letting grown ups speak like grown ups without fear of a mindless filter (you know...those things that won't let you type the scientific name for the human species). So, it's probably not a board for the younger folk who's parents might take issue with either the language or the grown up topics (no "Kirk vs. Picard" at his board). But, I whole heartedly recommend it to those who want adult conversations and debates about topical issues.

I haven't had a chance to peruse Josh's board yet. I joined but today was fairly busy at work.

To my mind, it's not a problem to have lots of boards...in fact, it's a good thing. Think about the threads here that are basically "why is no one talking to me?"....

How much more fun would it be to just go check your other boards? There's no law you have to post on every board every day. So, sign up for Josh's board. Remember that he's not one of the elder folk so don't jump in and try to start a "Star Trek Porn" thread or anything, but otherwise, have some fun with it.
