Default What did we do wrong?

I was just curious as to why "a surprising competitor of trek" was shut down. I realize it wasn't on topic, but nothing outside the rules of this site was going on.

I was worried there for a sec... let's get back on topic here, before they close this thread too without answering my question!

Well, it's the weekend...it's so odd that that thread got closed...I know I was popping off a bit but I wasn't being obscene or anything and while there was some moderately nasty stuff sent my way, it wasn't really bad and I didn't offer any complaints, so I don't know what happened there.

I mean, people are going to post things that are open to multiple interpretations and that's going to generate discussion....

Is discussion bad?

What's really weird was that it was closed after it was back to being nice. It was like "okay, it's resolved, they're posting nice, let's slam the door on this discussion now!"...

it's all very odd and speaks of some behind the scene meeting that we'll probably never know about.
