Thermal and ultraviolet radiation are at hazardous levels. I would risk dermal displasia. No thank you.

Paraphrased from whom and in what episode?

I must say I'm a bit scared! Is it a peace symbol?

I guess I just had to look then! I should so go up to my mom, and be like "Mom, guess what somebody posted on the Star Trek forums, it's SOOO cool!" She'd freak. She's gotten really, uh Momish over this forums... "don't give your name" etc. etc. I realize you're a mom, so you'll defend her... and she's right, there are always those who, feel obliged to show their tattoos...

Hey, the rule at my house is I have access to all sites she can have access to...so, if she has a fan fic site, I have access. So far, it's worked. Daughter got a bit grumpy when her friend made a website so they could chat and I found it and periodically checked in on it but, hey, that was the deal for getting to use the computer: I get to see everything she does online. (noting that I told daughter that I had the link...I don't think it's fair to spy,but it's fair to observe)

Listen to Mom...don't give your real name, don't give your real address (note that vague things like "I live in San Francisco" are fine....but if you live in an area that is not "computer dense" it might be better to be even more vague..."I live in the midwest".)

I do agree. Nobody on here knows my last name is Weshaufer, and certainly not that I live in Dykesville, WI (yes that city exists).

The only problem I have is that every time she sees me on the computer she acts suspicious and asks "What are you doing?". Oh well, she's Mom. She cooks and cleans and launders and makes money, so who am I to complain?
