CSI may be in danger from THE STAR TREK EFFECT, too many series on at the same time.

I tend to agree with that. I've never liked Miami anyway (the setting, the cast - I have a total inability to watch David Caruso!) but NY isn't too bad. I like Gary Sinise etc but I think there is definite overkill. Season 8 of CSI wasn't up to the standard of the last few years and that worried me. I'd rather see Miami cancelled than Vegas.

I've seen quite a few of CSI, and then a handful each of NY and Miami. Personally I dislike Miami, the acting is bad, writing is lacking, etc.

NY is pretty good. Good story lines, good actors

But the Original CSI is definitely my favorite
