The CSI Effect..
Hi, this is my first thread and I just wondered if there are any other CSI fans (by which I mean mostly the original, not Miami or New York).
I really love the show and have since the start but now all the original characters are leaving (Sarah, Warrick) and now William Petersen has announced he will leave halfway through the ninth season. I'm wondering if this is the beginning of the end for the original and best CSI! What are any other fans thoughts?

Yup. Grissom rules! The two episodes with "Lady Heather" are my favorites.
Sad that the actor who plays him is leaving the series.

I like Kurt, but I was hopeful that Catherine would be put in charge if he left, she's paid her dues the last eight seasons.

Well, I think they could re-assign her, if that was what her character wanted. Bring her back to the established team, perhaps.

Or maybe they could do a CSI/SG1 crossover thing... LOL
