And none of them have until then get "switched" on. So you have to assume, because it hasn't been shown on TV, that the 5th cylon does not know they are a cylon. That is, if in fact, the fifth cylon is in the human fleet.

To interject, I don't think it can be just anyone. While I accept I may be well wide of the mark I keep coming back to D'eana words when she saw the five herself - she said 'I'm sorry, I had no idea'. To me that suggests someone she knew, someone she had come into contact with. As I go back through the series before watching S4 I'm curious about paying attention to anyone she shared came into contact with. It's probably wrong but half the fun is guessing!

You would think she would have been more surprised by the final five in that dream as they were human. Well, the four we know anyways. The 5th is still up in the air.

Well she would have known they were figures in the human fleet anyway since they were all designed to pass as human, but that 5th one really surprised even her. But then there is the theory that the final five are part of a larger plan even the other seven models do not have knowledge of, hence their identities not being known to them.

I was just gonna say that the fifth is in the colonial fleet so it's got to be someone we've already met otherwise, the *wow* factor is just gone and how anticlimactic is that?

Personally I think that's highly possible but it has the same problem as the final once being Starbuck, Lee, the Admiral or Roslin in that's it's too expected by fans, and BSG doesn't usually do what's expected.
