Normally you can't find them after they sell out. When the year is gone, they are gone. That is normally. My daughter in law found a Hallmark store that is owned by the person. She sells however she wants. They had several of the old ornaments for sale, if fact, she bought me a second Borg cube pluse the 2008 communicator. I now have all of the ornaments except one. It is the hand blown glass enterprise. I received the 1991 "expensive" ornament as a gift this year! Now, I said that to say this, I have a Star Trek tree in my Star Trek ten forward. It is a 6 ft pencil tree that has nothing but Star Trek on it. Now for the person that says you have to limit the ornaments to 3 per cord, I never did that. I have used the same lights for the last 3 years, with over 50 Star Trek ornaments on it. Many of my ornaments I have more than one. I am like you with the lighted ones, I do like the when they come on. But when i display them on my glass shelves behind the bar, the ones without the cords on them look much better for the other 11 months of the year.

I got a bunch of Trek ornaments this year. The shuttlecraft from 1992 (was only 5 bucks!) Plus I got Kirk and Spock (i believe there from 94-95) pretty cheap. Rounding it out, I got an Uhura ornament that's from 2007 for a Christmas gift.

My father got a Wrath of Khan Enterprise Bridge ornament that is simply the greatest ornament ever!

Anyone find a good deal on the TOS communicator ornament?

I remember the commercials for the old ones from when I was 3. Wish I still had 'em on tape.

A few weeks ago I ran across a Christmas collectibles site that listed all of the STar Trek ornaments and their values. The original Trek Hallmark ornament is supposidly now valued at $300+.

They had TOS communicators listed, if anyone is interested, I'll dig up that address.

I did find out from Halmark that one of the ornaments for 2009 is going to be from The Menagerie, it is Kirk, Spock and Pike in his wheelchair.

I think my favorite of the entire run has to be the shuttlecraft. What does it say that the most accurate version of this vehicle is the $^#^& X-mas tree ornament? Anyway, I display mine in a diaorama of the TOS shuttle bay I made out of scrap materials, like a cardboard paint mixing bucket, and various shapes and windows made from sheet styrene.
