New Crewman Aboard...
Considering this is my 1st post, I guess I should begin with an introduction...
My name is Chad Matich. I am 33 years of age, and live in Fayetteville N.C. I am married and have one child. I am also a huge NERD (as is my wife and child, thank the gods for small miracles). My primary obsession is Anime, which I have been into for well over 25 years, and I am an avid Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica fan as well. I am also an Indie Rocker who has great music taste in bands like Mogwai, Red Sparowes, Superchunk, and more. I think that corporate rock and Top 40 is a blight on our social being, and is responsible for a major part of the general stupidity that we have to deal with in society on a day to day basis (but hey, that's just me). I also help to run a local Anime Club here in Fayetteville known as "The East Coast Anime Society", which has been in existence since 1995, and helps to support the Anime Scene here in Fayetteville, as well as the south east region of N.C. My dedication to E.C.A.S. over the years has also given me the opportunity to become a member of Con-Staff for one of the larger Anime cons on the east coast, Animazement. Finally, I am also a writer. I have had several of my reviews, columns, and political commentaries published over the years, but have taken on the role of script and story writer over the past few months. My works include several scripts for short films, as well as a Star Trek story I am working on for a local comic artist. Hopefully one of my comic scripts will soon be adapted into a script for my first Star Trek short film later this Fall / Winter.

Now about this "corporate rock" business..... LOL j/k. What is corporate rock BTW? I have a feeling it's something I like. But I agree with you on the top 40 trash.
