I've always wondered. In Futures End Voayger destroyed the timeship so the 29th Century Sol System wasn't destroyed. So as a result Captain Braxton didn't spend 30 years in the 20th Century.
When we fast forward to relativity he mentions he had to spend a long time in rehab because he spent 30 years in the 20th Century. I'm I missing something?

It's a plot hole they never explained.

Unless he went there anyway, independent of Voyager. He talked as though he'd never encountered them then.

This example (which I had forgotten) is why I have a problem with the increased use of time travel, because they just went for what will be a cool story this week, we don't have to explain it's not consistent! This is what fouls up the time travel stories!

Well all time travel creates a paraell universe, arguably.

Multiple universes are fine in theory, but is the Trek universe consistent, or have we seen several multiple universe transitions over 40 years or stayed in the same one with all aftereffects corrected?

They destroyed it after he went there, not before.

wait, Braxton encountered Voyager at the end of that episode and he hadn't gone to the 20th century.
Anyone notice it was a different actor altogether? |
