It's too big? I should have checked that. I'll re-animate it. I notice I froze the wrong frame on one turn anyway. I'll get it under the 100KB tonight. I ran into the same thing with mine, but this really doesn't have that many images....

What would you say to a dark background? I went with the "sunny sky" look because I thought it was sort of romantic, but it doen't show that much in the micro size and I suspect that part of the file size is the sky.

I like the dark better. For file size as well.

Photobucket said it was 218. The limit is 100.

How about doing one for me, with the CVN-65 USS Enterprise ( an aircraft carrier) with an airplane (perferably an F/A-18) launching off/landing on it.

KJ, going dark is a bigger change, so I went ahead and forced the first file to work. You can see I really had to sacrifice quality to do it. I don't fully understand what determines file size, but my avatar has around 70 images and it fit in without sacrificing quality. This one has less than 60 yet is being a problem....the only thing I can think is it's the complexity of the images themselves, and as the background is more complex in the "daylight" version, I'm blaming that (over all, all the images are more complex but that can't be helped!).



I'm going to tackle a few other people's requests before diving back into this one to replace the sky background. You can use this until then if you like or just wait (this is 99.7kb).

Mission Trek...now I'm afraid because I hadn't been worrying about the file size on these files with few images....but here's my first attempt for you. I hope it's small enough (I can't convert the number photobucket gave me to something I can relate to and I forgot to notice it in photoshop...)

There's also a moment then the tribble is coming down the hall, totally filling it...that seems ripe to me, but I just thought it was too funny to have Kirk there begging....
